Company Rep Workshop (CRW) will allow young professionals to experience Ballet RI repertoire in a workshop setting. Classes will be taught by Ballet RI Artistic Staff and Faculty. Participants will work with Artistic Curator and Resident Choreographer Yury Yanowsky on choreography, receive coaching on classical repertoire, and experience the process of a new creation with a leading guest choreographer.
To attend this opportunity, participants must successfully complete an audition (read more below). Upon acceptance instructions to register will be sent.

Audition Intensive
Prepare. Refine. Stand Out.
Audition season is about more than taking a great ballet class.
This winter, Ballet RI introduces a new edition of our Company Rep Workshop designed specifically for dancers preparing for professional company auditions.
Led by Ballet RI Artistic Staff and Faculty, this focused intensive gives emerging professional dancers the opportunity to prepare the tools for every part of their audition package, from what happens in the studio to the “it” factor that gets you in the door.
Dancers will:
- Refine classical variations with individualized artistic and technical coaching
- Strengthen contemporary movement for today’s professional audition environment
- Review and refine résumés, photos, and audition materials
- Work on presentation and audition strategy
- Experience Ballet RI repertoire and coaching with a world class artistic staff
- Meet one-on-one with the Artistic Director and receive individual feedback designed to identify strengths and areas for growth
The goal is simple: to help dancers.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
To attend this opportunity, participants must successfully complete an audition/application (read more below). Upon acceptance, dancers will be able to register via MindBody.
Acceptances will be sent on a rolling basis until the program is full – Limited space available!

HOW DO I AUDITION/APPLY?
Winter 2027
Applications will be exclusively via email. Please send your resume and photos, with WINTER CRW in the subject line to [email protected] by November 15, 2026 to be considered.
Summer 2027
Auditions will be held Winter 2027 for the Summer CRW. More to come! Auditions will also be accepted virtually.
IS HOUSING ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE?
Winter 2027
Attendees will be responsible for finding their own housing accomodations.
Summer 2027
Optional housing for CRW will be provided on the historic Rhode Island School of Design campus, where participants will enjoy experiencing dorm life with their peers and exploring the Cultural Capital of Rhode Island.
All residential students will be housed together with a Resident Assistant who oversees their day-to-day experiences. Students will have access to bus transportation to the studio, on campus dining for breakfast and dinner, bagged lunch at the studio from a local hotspot, and 24-hour campus security.
