Annually, Ballet RI’s professional company dancers perform the heartwarming, holiday classic The Nutcracker at The VETS in Providence, RI. In addition to the company, over 100 student dancers are needed to complete the cast. Students are drawn from School of Ballet RI and other area dance schools alike. Dancers ages 8+ are invited to audition for The Nutcracker. This year’s auditions will be held on the following dates:
- Saturday, September 19, 2026
- Saturday, September 26, 2026
Registration opens July 27th, 2026! A $25 fee is required upon registration.
Performances of The Nutcracker will take place December 17-27, 2026.
