Nina Yoshida

Company Dancer

Nina Yoshida was born in New York City and began her dance training at New Jersey School of Ballet. In 2013, she moved back to New York City to train with Gelsey Kirkland and in 2015, she was invited to join the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet company. In 2018, Nina joined American Repertory Ballet in Princeton, New Jersey, where she spent 3 years.

Her repertoire includes the Sugarplum Fairy and the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Carlotta Grisi in Pas de Quatre, solo dancer and first pas de deux in Ja Malik’s Fragments of Hope Lead Bacchanal in Walpurgisnacht, Maria in Cavalry Halt, Eternal Spring Pas de Deux from Yakobson’s Rodin, and Bournonville’s Flower Festival at Genzano pas de deux. Nina is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance at Saint Mary’s College of California’s LEAP (liberal education for arts professionals) Program, as well as a therapeutic massage certification at Community College of Rhode Island. In addition, she is a RYT200 certified yoga instructor.
